Wether you are Fault Code Reading,ABS Brake Bleeding, ECU or Module Reprogramming you will always require the vehicle ignition to be switched on. Extended periods of time like this rapidly discharge the battery usually causing work to stop, loss of data or worse still damage to sensitive electronic components. Using the BSU 1 unit provides a constant 12.7 volts, the optimum for vehicle programming. It also prevents loss of battery charge & ensures that the battery is not discharged at the end of the job.
